Megaman’s 7W candle lamps have been used to help The Sow and Pigs Inn reduce their lighting costs. The Sow and Pigs is a countryside inn located at Thundridge, North Hertfordshire.
The inn, which has been around since 1660, needed to reduce it’s outgoing finance as well as update the inn without it losing it’s traditional appeal.
Inn owner, Michael Coyle, said:
I am very pleased with the new lamps in terms of light levels and also effect, as it was very important to keep the original charm of the building. Calculations since installation lamps has resulted in savings of £528.22 per annum which equates to 2.74 tons CO2, a result that I am delighted with.
