An American Skin Specialist Centre gets a new LED skin and haircare treatment.
The Skin Wellness Centre at Atlantic Plastic Surgery has acquired an LED light therapy system. The system’s name isNeoLTS, it is FDA approved and clinically proven to improve the appearance of skin and hair. NeoLTS treatmetns are suitable for men and women of all skin and hair types.
Light therapy is the process of exposing the skin to specific wavelengths of light to help the body combat the signs of aging and to heal faster and more effectively. The most common type of light therapy utilizes LED light bulbs or Light Emitting Diodes. LED light therapy has a dramatic effect on controlling the visible signs of aging including wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and hair loss. There are 3 waves of light released. The blue light wavelength treats mild to moderate acne, the red light wavelength targets inflammation and the near infrared wavelength which stimulates the production of your skin’s natural collagen, elastic and tissue production.
