Topshop’s recently released (May 29th) collaboration with Ashish has brought a whole new light to their clothing.
The Ashish x Topshop line is available online only and currently only ships to the UK.
The line includes a light up backpack, light up sliders and light up platform trainers. All the mentioned products are fitted with multi-coloured LED lights. They also have a remote control so you can turn the lights on and off easily. The backpack is 100% PVC and is see through so be careful what you put in there. All the products look great from day to night and make comfy alternatives to your average club wear.
Celebrities such as Lily Allen, Katy Perry and Ellie Goulding have already been spotted sporting the trend.
Speaking to Vogue about the new range, Ashish said:
In a way I think the LED lights are almost like light up sequins. Sequins are like a long-term love, this collection is like my holiday fling!
Topshop’s Creative Director, Kate Phelan, said:

The collection is out now and the LED products start from £250.
