OSRAM SYLVANIA and NorthEast Electrical Distributes have teamed up with the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) Green Communities division and Mass Save partner utilities to offer schools and other state facilities a unique opportunity to save money and energy.
In the US, these companies are offering an opportunity to acquire the latest LED and reduced wattage T8 fluorescent lamps at no charge. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the DOER hope this scheme will reduce energy consumption and depending on fossil fuels. This reduction of this will also help the facilities save money on energy costs.
President and CEO of OSRAM SYLVANIA, Jes Munk Hansen, said:
