The lighting company Lightsense UK will receive a £1.2 million investment from Finance Birmingham to help find its expansion.
Lightsense UK produce LED and induction lighting systems and plan to double their staff.
Finance Birmingham are managing the £56 million investment on behalf of Birmingham City Council.

In the space of two years, we have gone from a start-up business to a major player in the commercial lighting industry, creating effective solutions for our clients in a financially pressured, environmentally conscious marketplace. Finance Birmingham’s investment ensures that we are able to further develop the range of our products to a growing number of large corporate customers, while looking to double our Bromsgrove workforce to deal with an increased demand.
