Verde LED have won a contract to supply LED lighting solutions to 2OC in Beckton, London.
2OC, also known as ‘the greatest power station in the UK’, is to be fitted with modular LED luminaires and remote lighting controls.
The main source of fuel for the plant is fats, oils and gases thrown away by households and restaurants. Thames Water, Britain’s biggest water company, says that fats, oils and gases are responsible for most of the blockages in it’s 109,000 km of sewers and removing them costs £1 million a month.
